Today we are highlighting the individual who oversees that writing staff – Mr. Lee Kelley, our Managing Editor and Chief Learning Officer.
A former Army officer and freelance writer, over the past 16 years Mr. Kelley has gained a sterling reputation with numerous leaders and government agencies as a gifted coach, writer, and trainer. He has an affinity for listening to his clients, asking them powerful questions, helping them reflect on their careers, and then writing highly impactful documents.
We’d like to share just a few of Mr. Kelley’s accomplishments, so you can see for yourself how dedicated and uniquely qualified he is to support the next generation of our nation’s executives:
– Personally coached and provided writing support to over 1,000 jobseekers to date.
– Successfully helped numerous government, military, and private sector leaders land senior executive positions across a broad range of government agencies.
– Leveraged his vast writing experience, along with lessons learned from our seasoned writing staff, to create more than a dozen tactical, engaging training programs and certifications.
– Edited thousands of pages of resumes and executive narratives completed by staff writers. Co-wrote four career-related books. Authored dozens of industry-related articles that went out to 75,000 subscribers.
– Since 2022, conducted 35 resume writing, Executive Core Qualification (ECQ) writing, and/or SES interview prep workshops, encompassing over 500 students, both virtually and in person.
