At CareerPro Global, you aren’t just purchasing a product, you are purchasing a customer-centric process that is based on 40 years of industry leadership and proven best practices.
We will of course do all the “heavy lifting,” but please be ready to partner with your writer in our four-step process, which usually spans approximately two weeks.
Step 1– Coaching call
First, your writer will analyze your target job/series, as well as your existing resume (if you have one) and create a personalized resume questionnaire in order to gather the most relevant information and match your experience to the target job/series.
Next, you will spend roughly 30-60 minutes on the phone with your assigned writer so they can:
– Answer your questions
– Explain our process
– Walk you through the best and easiest ways to complete the resume questionnaire
Step 2 – Information gathering
Next, you will fill in the resume questionnaire, and email your writer as many career documents as possible.
Everyone has a different schedule, but most clients report spending anywhere from 1-4 hours gathering the needed information and completing the questionnaire.
Your writer may ask you some follow up, clarifying questions after receiving your responses.
Step 3 – Writing and Proofreading
As soon as your project began, your writer started reviewing any career documents you provided, and developing your new resume.
Now that they have received your completed questionnaire, they will use it to finish writing a tailored resume that showcases your most relevant and recent career experience.
Next, the document will go through our internal quality control/proofreading process.
Step 4 – Review and finalization
We will email your draft to you by the agreed upon deadline, and then it’s your turn to review the document and tell us what you think.
Anything you want to add, change, remove? Any information that you forgot to provide earlier, or maybe some detail that you’d like to say differently? No problem, this is a routine, and very important part of our process, since there are many effective ways to write about career achievements.
Your thorough review and feedback will help ensure that your new document is as accurate as possible and meets your unique language and stylistic preferences.
After the writer receives your feedback, they will integrate it and send you a clean final version that you can start using with confidence to attain your next career goal!
