I was selected for and promoted to a Tier 2 Defense Intelligence Senior Level (DISL). Today was my first day in the new position (same office & role). Thanks for your great insights and assistance helping me prepare the IC-SOCQs, TCQs, and resume!
OPM’s QRB did not have any comments on my ECQs or resume so I received my final offer and, after clearing my disclosure and ethics statements with General Counsel, I am sitting in the position of Director, Office of Acquisition Services, effective Sept 13, 2023.?Thanks again for all of your help in getting my application documents prepared. It was a journey!!
I was selected for Senior Executive Service. I was appointed and started my new job on August 2023. ECQs passed with a first time go thanks to you. I know without a doubt your assistant ensured my resume captured all relevant competencies. Thank you!!!
Stefanie was a God send. She took her time to find out more information about me and not just the documents I gave her. She was polite and most of all a total professional! I recommend Stefanie to anyone trying to get into the SES world.
I really enjoyed the course and feel that it has given me a better understanding of the selection and interview process. I appreciate Mr. Kelley reviewing my resume and cover letter. He gave excellent advice, and I will be implementing these changes to my resume. Thank You!
BEST thing I ever did was hire CareerPro Global to develop my Linked profile. A recruiter called me, and I landed a management job in less than 3-weeks with an increase in salary of $37,000 per year, from $58,000 to $95,000; 3 weeks of vacation and a 5% 401k match. Of course, my resume was amazing and the content was spot on. Couldn’t have done it without the help of the incredible writers at CPG. Hire this company!
“CareerProPlus” has already made my transition to civilian life super easy. It is a great peace of mind to know that I am competitive in the civilian market and CPP has been with me the whole time and will be there when needed in the future!
A few months ago I applied for a USDA SESCDP vacancy. They received approximately 1,100 applications.
Phase 1: The HR office reviewed all the applications and ensured they met minimum qualifications (e.g., application package completeness). Those who passed this phase were moved to the 2nd phase. I don’t know how many met the minimum qualifications, but I would guess the majority of them, so about 1,000+.
Phase 2: USDA formed a Review Panel comprised of SES executives. The panel reviewed 1,000+ applicants’ ECQs against their resumes and selected 100 to move to the next phase. I was one of the 100.
Loved the ECQ course and the fact that we get to submit our ECQs for review. I wish this course was invented at least 5 years ago.
